Shakeup looms at Dynamos

A shakeup is looming at Dynamos as players vow to continue with their industrial action over unpaid bonuses and allowances.

Newly appointed president Solomon Sanyamandwe has called for the auditing of the club’s books while treasurer Moses Chikwairo is on the firing line as he stands accused of misappropriating the club’s resources.

A source at the club confirmed that a lot is brewing behind the scenes.

“You know when something wants to happen at Dynamos, mostly players or a section of the fans are used to trigger the changes,” said a source.

“Now you have the players striking over unpaid bonuses and allowances and at the same time you have the treasurer accused of misusing funds.

“Also, remember that during the previous executive the current president Sanyamandwe resigned as vice president then because of fights with Chikwairo and secretary Webster Marechera. So watch out as things start to unfold.”

Dembare players have refused to train in the past two days. They face Bulawayo City on Saturday at Barbourfields Stadium.
