CLPSL Match-day 25 Preview

Ngezi Platinum will play Highlanders this afternoon at Barbourfields Stadium without their midfielder Liberty Chakaroma who is suspended after accumulating three yellow cards.

Ngezi are looking for maximum points after suffering a set back in the title race when they lost to minnows Mutare City in the previous round. They are currently in the second position, seven points behind leaders FC Platinum.

Bosso are also hoping for a win having suffered a defeat in the reverse leg of the encounter. They have not picked up a victory in their last two games, and this will certainly push them to perform well this afternoon.

Tshilamoya have no injury worries except for Tinashe Makanda and Brian Jaravaza.

In another match to be played today, CAPS United clash against Nichrut at National Sports Stadium.

Makepekepe have been found wanting in front of goal in the second half of the season, scoring once in their last six matches.

Nichrut, however, have netted six goals in the last five games they have played. Former CAPS striker Rodrick Mutuma has been leading the attack, and he got a brace last weekend against Yadah.

Meanwhile, a win for the Green Machine today will see them completing a double having won in the first round of the season.
