Ndlovu rues first half red card

Bulawayo City coach Bekithemba Ndlovu says Sipho Ndlovu’s 38th-minute red card killed their game plan in the 2-1 loss to Dynamos at Barbourfields Stadium on Saturday.

Sipho made a crude challenge on Ocean Mushure and was sent off at the time Amakhosi were making efforts to recover from a goal down.

“We started slowly in the first half, but we picked up in the second half, and that red card in the first half killed our game plan,” Bekithemba said.

“We will still try our best to win games but performance wise I don’t falter the boys, my boys they are fighting, they want a win but it’s not coming our way, we will try our best in the next game.”

Meanwhile, City are sitting in second place from the bottom of the log table with 15 points from 25 games.
