Highlanders speedy winger celebrated his 26th birthday in style after he scored and provided an assist in Bosso’s 3-0 win over rivals Dynamos at Barbourfields Stadium yesterday.

Nyoni troubled the DeMbare rearguard the whole afternoon together with Nigel Makumbe, Denzel Khumalo, Adrian Silla and dreadlocked Tafadzwa Sibanda.

He netted the second goal in the 82nd minute, heading in a corner-kick before setting up Newman Sianchali who sealed the victory in the injury time.

Nyoni who is the stand-in captain had made a birthday wish before the game, saying that he hopes to put a smile on thousands of Bosso faithfuls against Dynamos.

Well, his wish was fulfilled as he scored his third goal in three consecutive games for the first time in his senior career.
