Former Castle Lager Premier Soccer League outfit Hwange will seek to consolidate their top spot on the Southern Region Division One log standings when they play host to fourth from the bottom Main Line on Saturday.

Chipangano sit on the apex of the log after amassing 49 points, five ahead of second placed Tsholotsho FC.

“We will need to keep on getting positive results to remain on top. We cannot afford to underestimate our opponents and we hope for the best in each and every game,” Hwange head coach Nation Dube said.

Last weekend, Hwange beat CIWU 2-0 courtesy of goals from Ernest Gwitima and Innocent Ndlovu.

Meanwhile, in other games set for this weekend in the Southern Region Division One league, Tsholotsho meet Bosso 90 at Luveve Stadium while Toronto take on bruised CIWU.
