Herentals target upset at Mandava

Herentals, spurred by their fine run of five unbeaten games, are targeting to upset FC Platinum in their own backyard when they play this afternoon.

The Students coach Kumbirayi Mutiwekuziva believes the win over stubborn Bulawayo Chiefs in the previous gave them the much-needed confidence going into the Mandava clash.

“We know that FC Platinum are one of the best sides in the country, but we are also hungry for success. We want to win this match because where were are at the log standings is not a safe position. We want to continue picking up points, so we are targeting another positive result,” said Mutiwekuziva.

Young Tino Benza scored a brilliant goal to dispatch Chiefs 1-0, but FC Platinum provides them with a tough challenge.

The log leaders have been ruthless at home and would want to maintain their lead at the top ahead of second-placed Ngezi Platinum Stars who are away to Yadah.
