Mutasa ‘happy’ with overall performance

Dynamos coach Lloyd Mutasa thinks his charges are performing well, but the impotence in front of goal is getting him worried.

The Glamour Boys have now failed to score in their last three-game following a 1-0 defeat to Harare City on Sunday. The fading giants are now in the 14th position, two points above the relegation zone.

“It’s a bit worrisome to play three games, and you don’t score a goal,” said Mutasa.

“Obviously, it becomes clear for everybody to see that our problem is the failure to put the ball past the goal line.

“But you can see the commitment and zeal are there from the boys, and we live on hope. The creativity is there. We are getting into the box, but we are just failing with the last touch.”

Dynamos had a subdued first half and they conceded early in the game when Ishmael Wadi found the back of the net in the 8th minute.

They failed to recover in the second period despite coming back a better side. Denver Mukamba went on to hit the crossbar while Cleopas Kapupurika and Brett Amidu were denied by the keeper from point blank.

New striker Kingston Nkhata did not play while captain Ocean Mushure and defender Peace Makaha also missed out.
