Dynamos won’t sack Mutasa, for now

Dynamos will not sack Lloyd Mutasa anytime soon, club president Solomon Sanyamandwe has confirmed.

Mutasa has become under fire for failing to bring positive results since his reappointment as the head coach in May. The team is currently sitting one place above the relegation zone.

In an interview with The Herald, Sanyamandwe says they will focus on giving more support to the technical team in their fight for survival.

“Sometimes things get bad so that you focus on the bigger challenges that are beyond the surface. Firing the coach at the moment is not the best solution,” he said.

“We are in a delicate situation, and it needs us to be level-headed. The team has hit a bad patch, and we don’t want to play the blame game because of that. It’s something we hope to overcome.”

The Glamour Boys have failed to pick up maximum in their last three games, losing twice and drew one game. Their next game is against Bulawayo Chiefs in the Chibuku Super Cup first round at Rufaro on Saturday.
