We won’t get relegated: Mutasa

Dynamos coach Lloyd Mutasa has allayed fears of the team being relegated saying the destiny is still much in their hands.

The Glamour Boys sit just two points ahead of Nichrut who occupy the last relegation spot, and a continuation of the current form might see them going down to first division.

“There are still 21 points to play for, so there is nothing to worry much about. We are just going through a poor form which is very common even in Europe. Once we start winning, everything will be smooth sailing,” said Mutasa.

“We have been playing well of late, but it’s only that the results have not been forthcoming. I am just optimistic that we will hit the right code soon. We are just looking forward to the next match with the faith that we will rise again.”

Dynamos made some few changes in the dressing room during the second round of the season with Brett Amidu returning to the club, on loan from FC Platinum, while Kingston Nkhatha signed after being offloaded by South African side, Supersport United. Both players are still to set the stage on fire.

Meanwhile, some quarters say the executive is ready to sacrifice Mutasa any time soon as they claim that he has failed in his duty to keep the team in the title race.
