Madinda Ndlovu makes demands

Highlanders coach Madinda Ndlovu has demanded that his players should prove the club’s rebuilding project is on the right track by winning the 2018 Chibuku Super Cup.

Tshilamoya who are already out of the championship race face Yadah on Sunday in the first round of the tournament at Barbourfields Stadium.

Speaking to the press on Thursday, the coach thinks winning the cup will bring hope to their project.

“This is the first time that I’m making a demand to my players. I’ve told them to go out and get something if you want to keep your positions next year,” said Ndlovu.

“The Chibuku Super Cup is the only competition that can bring the hope that we need as we continue with the project we embarked on.”

The Bulawayo Giants are rebuilding their team in a project that also aims to bring back the vibrant junior policy which produced several stars in the past.
