Fatigue affecting Highlanders preparations

Highlanders coach Madinda Ndlovu says his charges are not in good shape due to fatigue ahead of the Chibuku Super Cup encounter against Yadah at Barbourfields Stadium tomorrow.

Tshilamoya had a draining trip last week that saw them travelling by road to Mutare on Tuesday before connecting to Kariba two days later and came to Bulawayo for the Saturday home game.

Ndlovu said they are considering giving the boys some supplements to recover on time before the Sunday’s match.

“Our players are not yet in good shape, because you can see that the boys are still tired and their bodies are not yet back into shape.

“We will need a lot of nutritious stuff to take and maybe supplements to try and get them back into a good state for the weekend game.”

Meanwhile, midfielder Adrian Silla who missed the previous two games after the death of his grandmother is expected to return to action while Mbongeni Ndlovu is still out due to an injury sustained in a tie against ZPC Kariba.
