Log leaders FC Platinum go into the clash against Triangle at Gibbo Stadium without any pressure according to their coach Norman Mapeza.

Pure Platinum Play are five points clear from second-placed Ngezi Platinum who also hosts Caps United on Wednesday and Mapeza believes the exit from the Chibuku Super Cup will not put stress on his team to try and bounce back.

“We are running our own race, not other people’s, so we are not looking at how Ngezi Platinum Stars play or results from other centres.

“We have our own targets that we have set. Even our exit in the Chibuku Super Cup does not in any way affect our form in the league,” said Mapeza.

FC Platinum who are in the running for the title, lost on penalties to Chapungu in the Super Cup.

Mapeza’s side, meanwhile, is still to lose at Gibbo in the last three years.
