We Can’t Afford To Drop Points Anymore: Ndiraya

Ngezi Platinum Stars coach Tonderayi Ndiraya says his team should not drop points any more if they are to win the league title.

Madamburo closed in on log leaders FC Platinum, reducing the gap to two points going into the last six matches of the season but inconsistency has been their biggest letdown.

“We can’t afford to drop any more points in the remaining matches if we still entertain hopes of winning the title. This is something that we have been working on especially when we are playing against the smaller teams.

“I must admit that Caps United gave us a challenge, very tough and had a lot of experience. He hopes to continue with the same mentality and character against Bulawayo City at the weekend, ” said Ndiraya.

FC Platinum slumped to a 3-1 defeat away to Triangle, ceding some ground to Ngezi Platinum. Donald Tegure and James Nguluve scored for the hosts in either half while Joel Ngodzo secured the face-saver for Caps United.
