FC Platinum coach Norman Mapeza wants his charges to move on from Wednesday’s defeat at the hands of Triangle United and focus on the clash against Dynamos set for this weekend.

Pure Platinum Play lost 3-1 and are now separated by two points from second-placed Ngezi Platinum Stars who picked a victory yesterday.

The Sugar Boys were the first to hit the target through Kudzai Chigwida in the 6th minute before Lameck Nhamo added the second on the hour, while Pasca Manhanga sealed the win in the added time. FC platinum got the consolation through Rodwell Chinyengetere on minute 75.

Speaking after the match, Mapeza said: “We can’t mourn, we couldn’t defend two goals that came from counter attacks.

“But we are still in the race for the championship, and we are looking ahead of our match against Dynamos.”

The game against Dynamos will be played at Mandava Stadium on Saturday.
