Ndiraya pins hope on other teams

Ngezi Platinum Stars coach Tonderayi Ndiraya has now pinned his hope on other teams to stop log leaders FC Platinum so that his team doesn’t fall far behind in the title race.

Madamburo ceded more ground to Pure Platinum Play over the weekend after losing to Bulawayo City, and are now five points behind.

According to NewsDay, Ndiraya is optimistic by the time they play FC platinum in week 33 they would have closed the gap.

“Hopefully, we will correct this in the matches to come. We are now banking on other teams to stop FC Platinum. By the time we play them (FC Platinum), we will be somewhere there close,” he said.

Ngezi will play Chapungu at home in their next fixture before facing Harare city away in the following round. They also have dates against Bulawayo Chiefs and Black Rhinos.
