Clifton Kadurira will take charge of Ngezi Platinum Stars’ five remaining games following the sacking of coach Tonderai Ndiraya on Tuesday.
Kadurira served as the assistant coach under Ndiraya’s tenure.
According to H-Metro, the club chairman Jeremiah Gasitene confirmed the appointment but says a substantive coach will only be named in January next year.
“Kadurira is taking over as interim coach until the end of the season. He will be in charge in the remaining five games,” he said.
“Obviously at the end of the season we will have a review of his performance and we start from there.”
Former Warriors coach Kalisto Pasuwa has been heavily linked with landing the post. Pasuwa’s agent Gibson Mahachi has been frequenting Ngezi very often these days and attending their home matches.
