Chibuku Super Cup: Quarterfinals Preview

Highlanders and CAPS United are both in action this afternoon and will be hoping to do well and progress to the next round of the 2018 Chibuku Super Cup.

Bosso face defending champions Harare City in a quarterfinal clash at Rufaro Stadium. The Bulawayo giants will be out for revenge against a side that knocked them out of the cup in the first round last season. The Sunshine Boys also reached 2014 final after beating Highlanders in the semis.

Tshilamoya are likely to be without their captain Honest Moyo who picked up a knock. Goalkeeper Ariel Sibanda and striker Tafadzwa Sibanda are also out with injuries.

City, on the other hand, will be banking on the experience of skipper Tendai Samanja, Protasho Kabwe and Moses Muchenje.

In Gweru, CAPS United play Chapungu at Ascot Stadium.

The encounter will be a tricky one for the Green Machine considering how the Airforce side pulled a shocker in the first round against tournament favourites FC Platinum.
