The Warriors are set to leave for DRC today ahead of their 2019 AFCON qualifier to be played in Kinshasa on Saturday.

All members of the 22-man squad arrived yesterday except for Belgium-based duo of Marvelous Nakamba and skipper Knowledge Musona who will join others today around mid-day. Defender Devine Lungu was dropped after picking up an ankle injury on Sunday.

The team will depart Harare at 5 pm and arrive in the central African country at 11 pm.

“The team will leave on Tuesday around 5 pm after having a morning training session, and we expect to be in DRC at 11 pm. Everything is fine except the injury to Devine Lunga,” Warriors manager Wellington Mpandare said.

Zimbabwe will again face the Congolese three days later in Harare at National Sports Stadium. Kick-off time is at 7 pm.
