Warriors coach Sunday Chidzambwa is not worried by the absence of full-back Devine Lungu when they play DRC on Saturday in the 2019 Afcon qualifiers.

Lunga was dropped from the squad that travelled to the central African country on Tuesday after sustaining an ankle injury over the weekend.

Chidzambwa believes they are several defenders in the team who can fit in that left-back position.

“I think we have enough cover for Devine, we have Ronald Pfumbidzai who can replace him. We have other central defenders who are left-footed, so that’s enough cover for us,” Chidzambwa said.

The Zimbabwe side consists of 18 players, and they arrived in DRC at 11 pm last night.
