Pasuwa in talks with Malawian club

Former Warriors coach Kalisto Pasuwa is reportedly in talks with Malawian side Nyasa Big Bullets.

According to a news website, Nyasa Times, Pasuwa has agreed on personal terms with the club and is now set to replace sacked Rodgers Yasin.

The website also claims that the 48-year-old is waiting for his lawyers’ perusal on the contract before signing it.

Pasuwa’s handler, Gibson Mahachi confirmed there were a couple of teams that were showing interest in his client but refuted reports that they were close to a deal with the Malawian side.

“There are a few offers around, within the country and outside; four or five of them,” Mahachi told Newsday.

“Nyasa Big Bullets have shown interest, but nothing has been agreed on. They want him for just three months to finish the season, so we are still discussing the modalities.”

The gaffer is yet to find a coaching job since stepping down as the Warriors coach after the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations (Afcon) finals in Gabon over a year ago.

He has also been linked with a move to local side Ngezi Platinum Stars.
