Mapeza prays for momentum

FC Platinum coach Norman Mapeza is praying that the two-week break has not taken the momentum off his team ahead of the Nichrut clash on Saturday.

Pure Platinum Play are five points clear on top going into the penultimate five matches of the season and will be hoping to maintain their fine run which was interrupted to pave way for Chibuku Super Cup and the fulfilment of outstanding fixtures.

“We are coming for a break, and it happens that breaks kill the momentum. We want to continue winning so that we retain our title. We are going to Nichrut with one motive, that is to bring back the points to Zvishavane,” Mapeza said.

Nichrut will be without head coach John Nyikadzino who is yet to recover from injuries sustained in a road accident last month. The Shurugwi based side will also be hoping for a win to survive relegation.
