Preview: CLPSL Match-day 31

FC Platinum could win the title this afternoon if they manage to beat Chicken Inn at Mandava Stadium while second-placed Ngezi Platinum Stars lose to Harare City.

Pure Platinum Play are seven points clear on top ahead of Match-day 31.

The hosts have dominated the tie, winning five games while the Gamecocks have two victories. The most recent encounter, played in May, ended 0-2 in favour of the Zvishavane side.

In Harare, Ngezi have an unconvincing record while playing there, and this will be an advantage to FC Platinum who are banking on that.

Madamburo have only won in the capital against CAPS United and Dynamos but lost to Yadah, Herentals and Black Rhinos in this campaign.

Ngezi interim coach Clifton Kadurira will take charge of his second assignment.

Elsewhere, CAPS Unite lock horns with Yadah at National Sports Stadium.

The Green Machine will miss the services of Method Mwanjali due to suspension while the injured duo of keeper Prosper Chigumba and Dominic Mukandi are also out. Stephen Makatuka and Justice Jangano are available for selection, having missed the previous round on suspension.

At Gibbo, Triangle host relegation-threatened Mutare City while Bulawayo Chiefs will be hoping to pick up maximum points and steer away from the drop zone when they welcome an already relegated Shabanie Mine side.
