Mutasa linked with TelOne

Former Dynamos coach Lloyd Mutasa is being linked with newly promoted Gweru based side TelOne.

This follows revelations that the current TelOne coach Joel Luphahla doesn’t have the mandatory CAF A coaching licence.

“This is just talking in the corridor, a lot of names have been thrown around, but the one that has featured most is that of Lloyd Mutasa. The club officials believe he can build a strong team and also that he has some knowledge of the city having coached WhaWha before,” said a source at the club.

Mutasa is currently clubless since being sacked by Dynamos last month.

The gaffer, meanwhile, would still need a qualified assistant with the required badge to sit on the bench because, by virtue of being assistant at the national team, he will be away next year for some time should the Warriors qualify for the Africa Cup of Nations in Cameroon.
