Khama Billiat not worried by goal drought

Kaizer Chiefs forward Khama Billiat is not worried by the goal drought he is currently facing and has emphasised that what matters is the team winning.

The 27-year-old has of late struggled to find the back of the net, having contributed just one goal and zero assists in his last six matches for Amakhosi.

In an interview with Kick-Off.com, Billiat said: “As long as the team wins, brother, we are happy. It’s not about anyone. Kaizer Chiefs is bigger than any striker.

“Strikers come and go but the team remains. We want the points. If a set-piece can help us win the game, why not?”

The Zimbabwe international scored five goals and made four assists in all competitions during his first two months at Chiefs. Coach Giovanni Solinas went on to applaud his performances, dubbing him the best player in South Africa.
