Report: ABSA Premiership side wants Chidzambwa

ABSA Premiership side Black Leopards are reportedly targeting Warriors coach, Sunday Chidzambwa to take over the team following the sacking of Joel Masutha.

The Limpopo based side parted ways with Masutha on Monday after the club’s 3-1 defeat to Cape Town City at the weekend. They have now identified former Free State Stars coach Luc Eymael and Chidzambwa as potential replacements, according to IOL, a South African news website.

Chidzambwa who coached Leopards between 2010 and 2012 is said to be very keen to return to the South African Premiership despite doing so well with the Warriors.

But his focus at the moment will be on the national team which is seeking to seal an Afcon qualification against Liberia this weekend. A draw will be enough for them to reach the 2019 finals.
