Warriors skipper Knowledge Musona is with the rest of the team and will lead the team against Liberia today contrary to rumours circulating on social media.

Social media and some mainstream media organisations claimed on Saturday that the player had failed to join the Warriors camp in Monrovia as scheduled.

“Knowledge is here with the rest of the team, and we don’t know where it’s all coming from. We remain focused and not read much into that,” said Warriors manager Wellington Mpandare.

The European based players jetted straight into Liberia from their bases linking up with the South African based players and the locals who arrived in Monrovia earlier.

The Warriors need at least a point to qualify for the 2019 Africa Nations Cup in Cameroon next year.
