Chigowe wants to build ‘real’ Dynamos

Dynamos interim coach Lloyd Chigowe says he wants to build a competitive side next season should he be given a chance to lead again.

Chigowe said, without sounding disrespectful to the current team, that it’s clear for people to analyse that the calibre is not good enough for the club brand.

“As a commander, I wouldn’t want to disparage my troops, but there comes a time when it’s visible for everyone to see that the material that is there is not good enough. We want to carry out a caesarean operation at the end and bring in talent that makes us look like the real Dynamos not a caricature of Dynamos,” said Chigowe.

“This was a forgettable season, one which we would want to forget quickly. We had a bad start to the season, and things just didn’t go well.”

Meanwhile, Dembare came from behind and forced a 2-2 draw against Mutare City. The Glamour Boys had to turn on the power in the second half scoring through Tawanda Macheke and James Marufu.

Watch Mafa and David Mangesi had given relegated Mutare City a two-goal lead going into the second half.
