People entitled to their own opinion: Chidzambwa

Warriors coach Sunday Chidzambwa has responded to criticism following the 1-0 loss to Liberia over the weekend saying people are free to express their feelings.

Chidzambwa said people will always have own thinking with regards to player selection and tactics some which differ with the coaches’.

“Every Zimbabwean is entitled to his or her own opinion, and us as coaches, we are entitled to our own opinion. We do what is best for the nation, and in football, such things happen that you lose, but you can’t lose focus concentrating on past match instead of looking ahead to the next match,” said Chidzambwa.

“We are still on top of the group, and we have a crucial game coming up which we should be focusing on. The reality is that we have to win that match without giving excuses.”

Striker Tino Kadewere received a lot of criticism for failing to put away numerous chances that came his way while returning former captain Willard Katsande was needlessly criticised for coming back from retirement.
