Dynamos players, executive clash over kits

Dynamos players are on a collision course with their executive over kits.

The players took their kits home after the last match of the season on Saturday and the club’s bosses have threatened them if they don’t return the gears.

“The chairman, Isaiah Mupfurutsa, has been calling the players saying that if we don’t return the kits, we are not going to get our bonuses for reaching the Chibuku Super Cup semi-finals,” said a player who refused to be identified.

“The norm even the world over is that at the end of the season the players take their branded kits. After all, we certainly don’t care about the money because they are already giving excuses.”

Meanwhile, the players also clashed with assistant coach Murape Murape after the Nichrut match. Murape had labelled midfielder Marvellous Mukumba a small team player not fit for Dynamos. The other players joined in against Murape’s disrespect for the midfielder.

In the build-up to the encounter, Murape also had another altercation with Blessing Moyo who was subsequently dropped to the bench on Saturday.
