S.A based Zim players round-up

Baroka’s Talent Chawapiwa and goalkeeper Elvis Chipeze helped their team to reach the 2018 Telkom Knockout final where they will face Orlando Pirates.

The duo had a great outing on Sunday in 1-0 victory over defending champions Bidvest Wits. Chawapiwa and Chipezeze started in the first XI, but the former was subbed off in the 82nd minute.

Wits’ Terrence Dzvukamanja started as one of the twin strikers, and he played the entire ninety minutes.

On Saturday, Marshall Munetsi featured in Pirates’ 2-1 semi-final victory against Kaizer Chiefs.

The 22-year-old was employed as the right centre back in a 3-4-3 formation, and he didn’t disappoint. He played the whole game while his team-mate Kuda Mahachi failed to make it into the playing squad.

On the other hand, Willard Katsande and Khama Billiat started for Chiefs and played full minutes.

Billiat created Amakhosi’s only goal which was scored by Leonardo Castro, but he was tightly monitored throughout the game. Katsande had a fair performance, and he received a yellow card on the stroke of half-time.
