Ndlovu names final squad for COSAFA U-20 tourney

Zimbabwe U-20 national team coach Bekithemba Ndlovu has named a 20-member final squad for the 2018 COSAFA Championship in Zambia.

The squad is made up of two foreign-based stars, Marvin Sibanda and Munashe Garananga, and a host of players from the local Premiership.

Some of the notable local-based talents in the team are Harare City’s Tatenda Tumba, Tinotenda Chiunye (Caps United), Clive Rupiya (Chapungu), Delic Murimba (Triangle United) and Andrew Mbeba of Highlanders.

The tournament will start on Sunday 2 December and runs until the 14th of the month.

Zimbabwe are in Group C and will open their campaign against Botswana on Monday before facing Lesotho two days later with a date against Angola on December 9 in the final group stage encounter.
