Zim quartet in line to win first silverware in S.A

Baroka FC’s Talent Chawapiwa and Elvis Chipezeze, and, Orlando Pirates’ Marshal Munetsi and Kuda Mahachi are all in line to win their first silverware in South Africa when their sides face each other in the Telkom Knockout final at the Nelson Mandela Bay in Port Elizabeth this afternoon.

Baroka are making their maiden appearance in a major cup tournament and the Zimbabwean duo at the club is likely to start after featured in all the three matches of the tournament.

Goalkeeper Chipezeze managed to keep clean sheets in all the games.

On the other hand, Pirates’ Mahachi is still to make an appearance in the competition this season while Munesti played in the last two encounters.

Mahachi has been struggling to get some minutes on the field, and hopefully, he will feature today after starting in the CAF Champions League fixtures at the start of this month.

The kick-off time for the match is at 6 pm.
