Star players Peter Muduhwa and Gabriel are keeping Highlanders guessing over their next moves as they are taking longer to renew their contracts with other clubs waiting on the wings.

Muduhwa is being chased by Chicken Inn whose coach, Joey Antipas, has made it public that he is interested in the tough defender while there is a chance of a reunion with former coach, Erol Akbay who is now at Ngezi Platinum Stars.

Nyoni has admitted that he has received offers elsewhere although Bosso remain his first preference. Caps United are rumoured to have tabled a lucrative contract for the winger while another team is said to have offered a house and a marketing job.

“We are hoping to conclude negotiations with the players before the festive season. You know with the uncertainty of the start of the season, it might take longer with players weighing options,” said Highlanders’ chief executive Nhlanhla Dube.

Long-serving and loyal goalkeeper Ariel Sibanda is a sure bet to renew his contract together with versatile Godfrey Makaruse.
