FC Platinum coach Norman Mapeza says his side is going to work hard for a result against Congolese side Otoho D’oyo on Sunday.

Mapeza said that he is aware of the challenge at hand, but believes with hard work and good management of the game, they can get a result.

“We know we are up against a good team who are very good when playing at home, but our preparations have been well and we prepared accordingly. We need to work hard and manage the game well,” said Mapeza.

FC Platinum who have transformed well under Mapeza, became the first club based outside Harare and Bulawayo to win the PSL title and retained it in the following year.

Should they overcome Otoho D’oyo in the two-legged matches, the Zvishavane side can write another piece of history and qualify for the mini-league phase of the champions league.
