Suspended Dynamos players still waiting for verdict

The four suspended Dynamos players are still waiting for the verdict of their hearing done more than a month ago.

Marshall Machazane, Obey Mwerahari, Peace Makaha and Kingstone Nkatha were hauled before a disciplinary hearing on allegations of inciting other players to boycott camp ahead of their Chibuku semi-final defeat to Triangle United.

The players, who were suspended without benefits, believe the club is trying to fix them by holding the verdict.

“We know that we are innocent and the club knows that. The person who is being vindictive is the chairman Isaiah Mupfurutsa. He only wants to fix us, knowing that we don’t have salaries for November and December. The verdict should have come on 23 November, but they are delaying it,” said one player who refused to be named.

Meanwhile, Dynamos also risk sanctions from Fifa after another player management failure following a breach of Cameroonian Christian Epoupa’s contract. Former striker Evans Gwekwerere recently won a court case against the club in which he is owed $27 000.
