It’s not over yet: Mapeza

FC Platinum coach Norman Mapeza says his charges should aim to get more goals against AS Otoho D’yo that will see them reach the group stages of the CAF Champions League.

The Zimbabwe champions drew 1-1 in the first leg played in Congo last week and a goalless draw on Saturday or a victory by any margin is enough to get them through to the next round.

The match will be played at Mandava Stadium and kick off is at 3 pm.

Speaking ahead of tomorrow’s game, Mapeza said: “It is not yet over, the first half was played in Congo and the second is here, we still need a result here if the game finishes at 0-0 we will qualify, but that is not guaranteed they can get a goal in the dying minutes.

“Everybody knows where we are standing at the moment, I think we are just 90 minutes away from our objective of reaching the group stages of the Champions League. So we know the challenge, we are going to face on Saturday.”

Meanwhile, Winston Mhango who was dropped from the first leg’s squad remains AWOL while Kelvin Moyo and Rahman Kutsanzira have recovered from injuries, but are still doubts for the clash due to lack of match fitness.
