Tristan Nydam set to return to Ipswich

Tristan Nydam is set to return to his parent club Ipswich when his loan spell at St Johnstone comes to an end this January.

The 19-year-old moved to the Scottish side in August after failing break into the squad under former coach Paul Hurst. However, the midfielder continued to struggle at his new base as he has only made five appearances so far.

The Warriors hopeful’s first and only league start came in November and never featured in December.

Now with the new coach, Paul Lambert, in place at Ipswich, Nydam hopes for a fresh start upon his return.

He is contracted with the Championship side until 2021.
