Charlton Mashumba could return to the Absa Premiership after being linked with Chippa United.

Mashumba is currently in the books of NFD side Jomo Cosmos which he joined in October as a free agent following a short stint with Algerian giants USM Alger.

According to KickOff.com, the former Highlands Park striker is now under the radar of Chippa after netting four goals in the seven appearances he has made in this season.

“Yes,it looks like we are buying him. Negotiations are currently underway,”a source at the club told the website.

Meanwhile, Mashumba is in his second spell at Cosmos after featuring for the team in 2014/15 campaign where he scored 17 goals.
