Peter Muduhwa signs new contract with Highlanders

Peter Muduhwa will stay at Highlanders after signing a new contract with the Bulawayo Giants.

The defender was heavily linked with a move to crosstown rivals Chicken Inn when his first deal expired in December.

Bosso announced on Twitter that Muduhwa will now stay after signing a two-year contract.

“Highlanders Football Club is glad to announce that after long speculation around his future, Peter Muduhwa has extended his stay at the Club. Muduhwa signed a contract that keeps him at Highlanders for another two years,” reads the statement.

Muduhwa is one of the senior players coach Madinda Ndlovu wants to build his squad on. The 25-year-old was a key figure in the previous campaign as the team finished in the 5th position.

Meanwhile, Highlanders have completed the signing of Cleopas Kapupurika from Dynamos. The winger moved to Emagumeni as a free agent following the expiry of his contract at Dembare in December.
