Khama Billiat did not travel with the rest of the squad for their Nedbank clash with Tornado FC on Sunday.

The Zimbabwe international missed the 1-0 victory which saw the Soweto Giants reach the last 16of the tournament. According to a post on the club’s website, there were no long term concerns about Billiat who was just being rested.

“Khama Billiat, meanwhile, was given a break and didn’t travel with the team to East London,” Chiefs said in the post.

Chiefs now turn their attention to their game with Cape Town City in the League this coming week.
