CAPS United assessing Ghanaian trio

CAPS United have invited three Ghanaian players for trials as they seek to build a strong squad for the 2019 season.

The trio includes centre-back Awudu Abbass Larry, left-back Desmond Tetteh and former Kaizer Chiefs and Etoile du Sahel striker Agyemang Louis.

Club technical director Nelson Matongorere told NewsDay that the players arrived three days ago and were still being assessed.

“We are looking at a number of players and the Ghanaians have been with us for the past three days,” he said.

“It’s a process, we are still assessing them together with other players we have invited. Remember, we only started training on January 21, so it’s an ongoing process.”

Makepekepe have already made some signings and these include former Highlanders duo of Newman Sianchali and Gabriel Nyoni, Clive Rupiya and Phineas Bhamusi who was making a return to the club after spending a year at Triangle United.
