Hadebe to make Soweto Derby debut

Teenage Hadebe will make his debut in the Soweto Derby when Kaizer Chiefs host bitter rivals Orlando Pirates at FNB Stadium this afternoon.

The defender has been at Chiefs for a season and a half now but missed the past derbies due to injuries.

He will feature in the encounter for the first time after being named in the starting eleven along with fellow country-man Khama Billiat who made his debut in the tie in October last year.

Stand-in captain Willard Katsande is starting on the bench.

On the other hand, Orlando Pirates duo of Marshall Munetsi and Kudakwashe Mahachi didn’t make it into the first XI but will be hoping to play a part in today’s match coming from the bench.

Munetsi started in the two previous Soweto derbies while Mahachi is yet to make his debut in the encounter.
