Knowledge Musona returned to the first XI and scored his debut goal for Lokeren in a 2-1 victory over Antwerp on Saturday night.

The Warriors skipper joined the side in January on loan from Anderlecht and played his first game the following weekend. However, Musona missed the next two rounds due to a chickenpox illness and started training early last week.

He had a great time on the pitch last night and was undoubtedly the most visible player up front. He opened the scoring in the 32nd minute with a superb strike. He almost got his brace ten minutes later, but the effort could not find the target.

Lokeren’s other goal came from Marko Miric in the 67th minute while Antwerp got their consolation from Lior Refaelov on the stroke of full-time.

The victory ended a five-match losing streak for Musona’s new team.
