CAF decision won’t bring any change: Mapeza

FC Platinum coach Norman Mapeza says their return to Mandava Stadium at this point will not bring any change in their Champions League campaign.

The Zimbabwe champions played the other two home games at Barbourfields Stadium, about 185km away from their base. They failed to collect maximum points in both ties.

Pure Platinum Play is now set to play their last Group B match which is against Esperance at Mandava.

According to H-Metro, Mapeza thinks that the decision to allow them back to their home town came a little bit late.

“I think they disadvantaged us by not using our home ground,” he said.

“It won’t change anything at the moment, although it will be good four our fans to come and watch us without any challenges of travelling.”

FC Platinum anchors the group with just one point.
