Chicken Inn suffer second defeat in Malawi

Chicken Inn suffered their second defeat in Malawi when they lost 2-1 to Callisto Pasuwa’s Nyasa Big Bullets on Saturday.

The Gamecocks were hoping to recover from yesterday’s 1-0 defeat to Be Forward Wanderers in their first match of the Nyasa Big Four Bonanza tournament.

Bullets’ Yamikani Fodya was denied a goal by the woodwork as early as in the 2nd minute.

The visitors, however, took the lead through Clive Augusto a few moments before the quarter-hour mark but the home team equalised on minute 35 courtesy of Henry Kabichi’s free-kick.

Bullets were unlucky again as McFarlane Mgwira’s effort from the rebound went straight to hit the woodwork early in the second half. Nonetheless, they took the lead in the 65th minute through Chiuķepo Msowoya.

Chicken Inn will face Clube Ferroviário de Nampula on Sunday in their last game of the tournament.
