Highlanders duo in U23 squad for back-to-back Afcon qualifiers against Mozambique

Highlanders duo of Prince Dube and Mbongeni Ndlovu has been called to the national U23 squad that will play Mozambique in the Afcon qualifiers later this month.

The selection of Dube and Ndlovu was confirmed by the club in a statement on Monday.

The Young Warriors are set to kick off their qualifying campaign with an away game on the 22nd of March before hosting their neighbours in Harare four days later.

Coach Tonderai Ndiraya will lead the technical team assisted by Nesbert Saruchera and Bosso pair of Mandla Mpofu and Tembo Chuma (goalkeepers’ coach).

Other players expected to be part of the squad are Spain-based duo of goalkeeper Martin Mapisa and central midfielder Abubakar Moffat.
