Malawi international undergoing trails at Chicken Inn

Castle Lager Premier Soccer League side Chicken Inn is assessing Malawian striker, Muhammad Sulumba, according to the Chronicle.

Sulumba, a former Mighty Tigers, Nyasa Big Bullets and Be Forward Wanderers striker is undergoing are a week-long trial at the Bulawayo-based club.

Coach Joel Antipas confirmed to the newspaper and has also revealed that the striker will feature in a friendly match against Harare City this weekend.

“We have a striker from Malawi, whom we will be assessed for a week before deciding whether or not to sign. He will train with us this week, and at the weekend we intend to field him when we play a friendly match against Harare City at Luveve Stadium,” said Antipas.

Chicken Inn has so far added nine new players to their squad, and these include goalkeeper Donovan Bernard, defensive midfielder Tinashe Chipunza, winger Malvin Gaki, Phakamani Dube, attackers Valentine Kadonzvo, Bret Amidu, Sipho Ndlovu and Panashe Mutasa.
