Zimbabwean striker Cuthbert Malajila is among the five players reportedly on their way out at Mamelodi Sundowns.

The 33-year-old has struggled for game time since recovering from a knee injury which ruled him out of action for over a year. He has failed to make it into the playing squad since featuring for a minute against AmaZulu in his only appearance after his return in January.

According to reports in South African, the management wants to release players who have not made any contribution this season.

The other players set to leave the club are Oupa Manyisa, Mogakolodi Ngele, Thokozani Sekotlong and Sibusiso.
