Preview: FC Platinum vs Esperance

FC Platinum will be playing for pride when they face Esperance in the final Group B of the CAF Champions League.

Pure Platinum Play are already out of the competition and sit on just two points from five games. The North Africans, on the other hand, have already reached the knockout stages and will be looking to maintain their perfect run.

This leaves Horoya of Guinea and Orlando Pirates of South Africa to scrap for second place.

The defensive trio of midfielder Kelvin Madzongwe, central defender Gift Bello and left-back Elvis Moyo will not be available due suspension while for the Tunisians they only came with fifteen players, opting to rest some of their stars.

Meanwhile, the encounter was supposed to be played in Zvashavane but CAF announced venue changes early this week, forcing the Zimbabwe champions to return to Bulawayo where there hosted their other two games. The move sees Esperance returning to Barbourfields for the first time in 15 years where they played Highlanders in the same tournament.
