The Warriors’ scheduled dinner with President Emmerson Mnangagwa has been cancelled.

The national team was supposed to meet the president tonight in Harare ahead of their Afcon qualifier game against on Sunday.

Zifa president Felton Kamambo confirmed the development at a press conferance on Friday afternoon saying this was to allow the mourning of Cyclone Idai victims.

The natural disaster has claimed hundreds of lives in the Eastern Highlands region and displaced several families.

Meanwhile, there will be two days of national mourning of the victims of the natural disaster starting from tomorrow.
